The Scare Fest
Information
The Scare Fest is hosted by Ghost Chasers International, Inc. www.ghostchasers.com
and was created by Jeff Waldridge and Patti Starr. The Scare Fest will be held at the Lexington Convention Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
The newly renovated Lexington Center is located in the heart of downtown, it offers 66,000 square foot of exhibition space and 40,000 square foot of meeting rooms and ballrooms, all adjacent to the Rupp Arena, home court of the Kentucky Wildcats college basketball team and the Shops of Lexington Center. The shops at Lexington Center offer a variety of casual dining choices and an array of fine gift and specialty shops in a relaxed, elegant setting.
The Scare Fest will be held in the East Hall and Heritage ballrooms one, two, and three. The Scare Fest convention space will be 24, 534 square feet. It will be a fully contained convention with the only reason for convention ticket holders to leave during the hours that the convention is open is to eat lunch or dinner. You will still be able to remain in the building without losing your parking places by eating in the shop center's dinning area.
The Lexington Center has plenty of available parking lots within feet of the center. There are two hotels (The Hyatt Regency and the Radisson) that are connected to the center complex by skywalks.
Once the convention is closed there will be several after-hour events daily to include:
Ghost investigations with paranormal experts
Midnight Horror films at the Kentucky Theater, Friday & Saturday night
Ghost walks
