EVP's 
 |
a) “What.” In a room upstairs, a recorder was left with a TriField Natural EM meter. There is a ceiling fan on that causing some clicking sounds. The meter goes off and in a few seconds an EVP, “What.”
b) “Dog is the cutest.” While Patti was putting up the equipment in the upstairs room, one of the participants, Dawn Sandum, asked the dog, “What do you think, Bubby?” and the EVP, “Dog is the cutest,” comes through. Click Here to visit Goddess Dawn's website.
c) “Help.” A very faint help is heard just after the laugh. This was captured in the same room upstairs where the other EVPs were recorded.
d) “I missed her.” One of the participants in this ghost investigation had recently lost her husband and she was hoping for him to come through. The room was empty and no one there when Patti got this EVP that says, “I missed her” just as the TriField goes off.
e) “Oh God.” In the same room upstairs with no one in the room. It is a very faint, “Oh God.”
f) “Witness.” In the same room upstairs with no one in the room. The meter goes off and then an EVP says, “Witness.”
6) Abandoned TB Hospital, KY
I have been contacted by a representative of the Bourbon County Parks Department to send the public an important message regarding
the Haunted Paris TB Hospital!!

The County Judge, Donnie Foley, as well as the Paris Police Department will be issuing tickets for trespassing and possibly sending trespassers to JAIL!!
As I have stated previously, in my writings, seminars, and classes, the TB Hospital is not opened to the public. It is private property and posted. This means you CANNOT tresspass and go onto this property. If you go there you will be caught, you will be given a ticket, and you may go to JAIL, so do not tresspass on this property.
You have been warned so please obey the law and do not tresspass on the property of the Paris TB Hospital!!!!

a) “Hello.” While Patti is walking down one of the halls and talking to a group of students she picks up an EVP, “Hello.”
b) “Down under the steps.” Patti and her group are near the steps on the second floor when they decide to go to another part of the hospital. She calls out, “Let’s go! Come on Chuck” and then you hear a little girl’s voice, “Down under the steps.” There were no children with us or on the hospital grounds. Nancy Short, psychic/medium reported that she had seen a white mist coming from the storage area under the steps.
c) “Dream us.” Just after Patti said, “Sometimes they’ll stand behind us,” you’ll hear a child cry out, “Dream us.” They were going down the hall towards the stairs.
d) “Hello.” Patti is explaining something to one of her students and said, “ That’s when you get your proof,” you hear a male voice say, “Hello.”
e) “I doubt if you can take them.” Patti is commenting about her batteries going dead and hoping to have enough power to take more pictures. A male voice EVP is captured as he says, “I doubt if you can take them.” He says it very quickly and sharply.
f) “Runs out.” Patti is telling one of her students that she might as well take an extra disc for her digital camera, instead of coming all the way back down here because it runs out, and just after she says that you hear, “Runs out.” Again she captures another EVP that repeats her last words.
g) “Stairway.” This EVP was captured by Susan Rummel, certified ghost hunter and member of Ghost Chaser International, Inc., just beside the stairway. The whisper, “Stairway,” comes first and then Susan comments that she always gets something by the stairs. Coincidence?
h) “Yeah.” Patti is asking the spirits to come forward and just as she says this she pauses and you can hear a male response, “Yeah.” The beeping in the background is the fire dept. that joined her group on the investigation.
i) “Back forward.” Patti is down on the first floor changing out her film in her camera when she captured this EVP saying, “Back forward.”
j) “Bless you.” As Patti is looking down the hall to find where the others have gone she says to one of her students, “I get so turned around.” And then you hear a whisper, “Bless you.”
k) “Come back.” As Patti is leaving the hospital her last EVP that she picks up says, “Come back.”
l) “Hello.” The Dr. Gauss meter goes off and it makes a jerky, whining sound. Patti said, “That had to be a heck of a force for that to go off.” And just as she says that an EVP is picked up which sounds like it is at the end of the hall and it says, “Hello.”
m) “Help me.” While in a room on the second floor Patti picks up an EVP that asks for help. The static comes in strong just after the, “Help me.”
n) “Help me, help me.” While Patti was in another room on the third floor she went into the room to see if she could pick up any feeling. She had a very sad feeling and then turned to walk out. While in that room she captured the EVP as it whispered quickly, “Help me, help me.”
o) “It did not break it” or “He did not make it.” This EVP was captured by Bill Scott, member of Ghost Chasers International, Inc., and President of Southern Ghost Researchers. He gets a call on his talkie and after he says “Cancel.” You hear the EVP of a male say, “It did not break it” or “He did not make it.”
p) “I’ve been sittin’ here all day.” This little girl EVP was captured on the first floor just around from the nurses station. This EVP was captured on the video as well. It is one of the few EVPs that Patti has been fortunate enough to capture on more than one medium.
q) “Mommy!” This EVP was captured on the first floor down from the nurse station. This EVP was also captured on the video as well. One of the few EVPs that I’ve been fortunate enough to get on more than one medium.
r) “Tell us.” This EVP was taken just before the team was going to leave the hospital. Patti looked down the hall and thought she saw something coming towards them in the dark. They called down to see if it was one of the members and there was no answer. Susan Lewis, member of Ghost Chasers International, Inc., said, “He’s not answering.” And then you hear this mechanical voice say, “Tell us.”
s) “Quiet.” While the members of Ghost Chasers International, Inc., were on the fourth floor of the hospital, Patti looked out the window to see some teenagers snooping around the hospital grounds. Just as she stuck her head out the window to get a better look one of the teens flashed his light up to the fourth floor. Once he saw Patti’s blond hair and fair skin face he yelled out, “Oh my God, I saw a face.” They did not know that we were in the building so Susan starting making this howling noise to scare them away. Once she started howling we looked out the window and all you could see was the flash lights they were holding bobbing all over the place as they ran back in to the back woods. Just as Susan stops howling you will her an EVP say, “Quiet!” just before I start to laugh. I know this sounds bad but we had permission by the city to be there and they did not. This was better than having them arrested for trespassing.
t) “Right here.” As the members are packing up to leave one of them is talking about seeing someone that wasn’t there and then the EVP comes through, “Right here.”
u) “Yeah.” While Patti was dowsing she was being lead down the hall and on the way down this very dark hall she was pushed and fell up against the opposite wall. She was not harmed but realized that there was something there that wanted her attention. Finally she ended up in a treatment room where her rods crossed. During her line of questioning she asked the male ghost that she had contacted if he was the one that pushed her in the hall. Just after she says the word hall he very quickly says, “Yeah.”
v) “Yeah.” The next question that Patti had for this ghost was directed to Jason, psychic/medium and member of the Ghost Chasers International, Inc. Patti asked Jason if he was getting a feeling for a name. Jason asked, “Does you name start with a ‘D’? Is it David? Is that what it is?” and just and he says his last word “is” the male voice says “Yeah” and then finishes with a lot of static.
7) Planters Row Golf Course Mansion, Lexington, KY
a) “Girls’ Laughter.” Shortly after arriving at the clubhouse the members of Ghost Chasers International, Inc., were getting their equipment ready to start their investigation and right away Patti picked up an EVP of two little girls laughing. It’s not a long laughs put it is endearing.
b) “Alright.” As Patti is setting up her recorder in this one room where they hear constant tapping and can’t find the source, she picked up an EVP that says, “Alright,” after she asks it to speak to her and just before she says, “I’m going to lay the mic.”
c) “Cup!” Chuck Starr, certified ghost hunter and Treasurer of Ghost Chasers International, Inc., goes to the bar for a soda. Just after the server asks him is he wants a cup, Patti picks up an EVP that shouts, “Cup!”
d) “Tapping sound.” The manager of the clubhouse complained that this room was the most haunted. They would hear footsteps and tapping in this room all the time when there was no one in there. Patti Starr set up her recorder, closed the door and she captured the tapping and movement when no one else was there.
e) “More Tapping sound.” Throughout the tape that was left in the room that was stated as the most haunted continued to pick up a tapping sound and movement when it was suppose to be vacant of people.
8) Homestead, Joanne Hobbs, Bardstown, KY
a) “Crying sound.” A recorder was left alone in one of the rooms that had the best reading from the various EMF meters. A crying sound was recorded after only a few minutes into the recording.
b) “Jason.” While upstairs, Patti was taking some pictures and captured an EVP that said, “Jason.” Later on she found out that one of the participants had a teenage son that had passed on and she was hoping that I might pick up something about him.
c) “Mathew.” Joanne, owner of Homestead, told us about finding unmarked graves out in the back field so the members decided to go out to the cemetery. During the walk out Patti captured an EVP saying a slow, “Mathew,” just after a burst of laughter from the group.
d) “…..okay.” As Patti is dowsing and asking a question she says, “Okay, anything else,” and you hear, “Okay.” The EVP speaks over Patti’s statement and the only word you can make out is the last one, “Okay.”
e) “Yes.” As Patti is dowsing she is asking, “Are you the onethat hit Luke on the head, and she captures an EVP that whispers very lightly, “Yes.”
f) “You got it all.” While in the dining room Patti is checking the room out with her meter and you can hear her say, “Okay.” Then the EVP says, “You got it all.” And then Patti ends her sentence with, “Okay, hold on.” And the meter is going off.
g) “Yooou.” As the investigation is closing down Chuck tells Patti that it is 11:00 pm and after a snap you hear an EVP say, “Yooou,” as Patti says, “Oh my goodness.”
9) The Talbott Tavern, Bardstown, KY
a) “Alright.” Patti is filming a segment for the Food Network for a program called the “Best of”. She is setting up her meters and tells Chuck, her husband, to get as close as you can get, and you’ll hear an EVP response, “Alright.”
b) “You’re a bad m----- f---er.” This is an x-rated EVP. We had completed our investigation in the kitchen and my daughter, Ashley, said she was sorry she didn’t take any pictures while I had been dowsing. As she is apologizing, we picked up an EVP that just didn’t make sense. When it is played backwards it says very clearly, “You’re a bad m--- f---er.” Now, I’m hoping that it meant bad as in “Shaft.” Shaft was cool in the 70’s movie and popular song about Shaft being a bad m----- f---er.
c) “Behind you.” While dowsing in one of the guest rooms on the second floor in the newer wing of Talbott Tavern, Patti picks up an EVP that says, “Behind you,” as she is dowsing. She wanted to find out if there were any ghosts in the room and one of her rods swung around and hit her in the neck pointing behind her. After she got home and heard the response she now associates that movement of the rods meaning for her to turn around and face the spirit or ghost while asking questions.
d) “Help me.” Patti’s dowsing in the kitchen where she picked up a male spirit and a female spirit. While speaking to the male spirit she explaining something to Ashley, her daughter, then she says, “I’m getting ready to ask another question.” In a brief moment of silence you hear an EVP come through with a faint, “Help me.”
e) “Yeah, I agree.” While Patti continues to dowse in the kitchen, she picks up a female ghost and through her yes and no questions learns that the ghost is very unhappy and confused. Patti learns that the woman had either hung herself or was hung for her crimes and she was afraid of judgment so she would not go into the light. After explaining to her that she had nothing to fear and that she would receive counseling to make her next choices, Patti tries to coach the ghost into the light. As she says to her, “……I think that if you would go into the light…….You would be soooo much happier,” you hear an EVP response, “Yeah, I agree.” It almost sounds as if there are two voices. Maybe someone had come for her and they both spoke at the same time.
f) “I can’t really give one.” During another session of dowsing at the Tavern in the cellar, Patti picked up a spirit that had just recently passed within the last four years. He claimed to have worked there and was a friend of the employee that Patti was demonstrating the dowsing techniques. They were all surprised at how young this spirit was considering the age of the building. They were expecting to find someone that had been crossed over longer than four years. To verify that this spirit was indeed a friend of the employee Patti had the employee to give her some questions to ask. Since she did not know the employee or the spirit she wanted to see if the rods would provide them with correct answers to his questions. The spirit confirmed who he was through yes and no questions and answered all of his friends questions correctly. We found out what his name was, he had died four years ago, he worked at the Tavern when he was seventeen and he died in a car accident. His purpose for coming through was to see his younger brother graduate from school that night. He took an opportunity to come through to let his friend know he was there with them. The employee had just come back from the same graduation ceremony where his friend’s brother had been. The employee was pretty excited and asked if Patti could take a picture of him to see if they could get a shape in the photo that would prove that his friend was visiting him from the other side. As She is getting ready to take the picture, Patti asks the spirit to, “Please take a shape, okay, so we can prove that you exists.” Just as she says the word, “shape”, you can hear a reply, “I can’t really give one.”
g) “Yes.” After taking a few pictures of the employee trying to get a picture of the spirit that had been contacted there in the cellar of the Tavern, Patti decided to set up her TriField Natural EM meter to see what might happen. Once it calibrated to zero she asked the spirit if he was still in the room and the meter starts to go off and at the same moment she recorded an EVP say with a lot of breath, “Yes.” The meter continued to whine until it stopped after the 9-volt battery had been completely drained. This was a brand new battery.
10) The Witches Cemetery, Lexington KY
a) “Ah, so terrible.” As Patti is doing a pre-investigation of the Witches Cemetery for her next class field ghost hunt, she finds a leaf that is covered with parasites. She lifts it up and says to her husband, “They’re all over the leaves, what is that,” and the EVP responds with, “Ah, so terrible.”
b) “Hey Bill.” During a class field ghost investigation, Patti captures an EVP that calls out, “Hey Bill.” Was it a coincidence that a student named Bill was there?
c) “See ya.” As Patti is asking permission for the spirits to allow her class to capture their energies on their electrical devices she captures a response. Patti says, “ We are not going to make fun of you, we just want to prove that you exist. Thank you.” After a quick silence you hear the EVP say, “See ya.”
d) “Thank you kindly.” Patti is a firm believer that if you go into a cemetery and clean up and straighten any fallen head stones, you’ll get better results for showing such respect. She gives her students plastic trash bags to tie on their belt loops and they clean up before starting to investigate. As they are cleaning up they came across a headstone that had fallen over. They picked it up and cleaned it off and as they were doing so Patti picked up an EVP that says, “Thank you kindly.”
e) “UFO sound.” While setting up and getting ready to start the investigation Patti always comments on what sounds are going on around them so she will know what sounds to expect when reviewing her tape. This Witches Cemetery has incredible energy and you feel it almost instantly once you enter the grounds. The sound that she picks up is completely foreign to any of the students and it was not listed as part of the different sounds that were going on that evening. This sound was also sent off to a reliable electrical source and since they couldn’t find a reason for the sound, they felt Patti had captured a real sound anomaly.
11) White Hall, Richmond, KY
a) “Alright --- ---.” Chuck Starr, Patti’s husband, is asking permission of the spirits to communicate and allow us to record them. After he says, “….if you are here in this room, reveal yourself,” you can hear an EVP respond to his request by saying, “Alright --- --- and the other two words are not clear.
b) “Hello.” Patti had placed a recorder in the main living room of this mansion on the first floor. Everyone else is in the next area called the foyer talking before the actual investigation gets started. The recorder picks up a young male EVP saying “Hello,” as if he is trying to get our attention. Later while Paula Lewis, member of Ghost Chasers International, Inc. was dowsing, she picked up a young boy of nine. Of course we did not know we had this EVP until after the investigation was over.
c) “I’m ready Clay.” While doing a segment with the local TV station, Patti was demonstrating to the cameraman how to get EVP’s. After a short time of recording, during a dowsing session, Patti captured an EVP saying, “I’m ready Clay.” The recorder was on a table just beside Patti as she dowsed, but it sounds like someone handled the recorder and turned it off and on during the capture of the EVP. This mansion was the former home of Cassius Clay, back in the 1800’s.
d) “Yeah.” This recorder was placed in a room by itself while the members of Ghost Chasers International, Inc., were in the other part of the house. You can hear strange whispering in the background and then a loud whisper that seems to agree with the unheard conversation.
e) “Laughing sound.” Patti was taking pictures in the main foyer when she says, “I thought I had a big O’ fat orb but it was a clock,” you’ll hear the static build up and then a quick laugh, then Patti says, “Darn it.”
12) Mansion at Griffin Gate Marriott, Lexington, KY
a) “Get out of here!” This EVP was captured in the Blue Ashe Room on the second floor where most of the ghostly activity takes place. Shutters close on their own, candles are lit by an unknown source, and lights in the chandeliers are loosened so they appear to have burned out. As Patti and her husband are setting up for a pre-investigation for her class they begin to have equipment failure almost immediately. After a short time of trying to get everything working again Patti’s recorder picks up an EVP that shouts out, “Get out of here!”
b) “Daddy was causing the lights.” Once the investigation got under way and just after Patti had completed a dowsing session the accent light fixtures on the walls started to blink on and off. The strange thing about this is these lights were turned off and now were blinking on. As Patti is commenting on the lights going off and on she picks up a little girl EVP saying, “Daddy was causing the lights.” The manager told Patti later that last year one of their customers claimed to be a psychic and wanted to venture upstairs in the Blue Ashe Room. Of course he said yes and when she came back down she reported to him that there was a complete family of ghosts living upstairs.
c) “Devil Worker….Jennifer….Lady that we know.” The recorder Patti used to get this EVP was located upstairs on the second floor in the hallway that accessed the four separate dining rooms. As she and others are discussing the paranormal events an EVP is captured over their voices and it says, “Devil worker,” then a pause, “Jennifer,” another pause, “Lady that we know.”
d) “Devil Worker.” This is the first part in the sentence “C” of the EVP.
e) “Here.” As Patti is preparing to set her cassette recorder one of the employees asked her is if there were ghost there to ask the questions and as Patti answers with, “Sure,” you hear an EVP whisper, “Here.”
f) “Hurry.” As Patti is packing up the equipment, Chuck asks her, “Do you want me to shut the camera down?” and then there is an EVP that whispers, “Hurry.”
g) “Keep talking.” Patti and the employees are sitting at a table with a cassette recorder in the middle. Patti is going to ask a question and then waits for a few seconds to see if the spirit will answer. Everyone is quiet and still. During the silence there is a snapping sound and an EVP that says, “Keep talking.”
h) “Laughing sound.” While Patti is explaining to some of the employees about how to capture EVPs her recorder picked up this EVP laughing in the background. She also got this same laughter on her video. It was louder on the video than the recorder. The video was in the Blue Ashe Room, where most of the paranormal activity takes place.
i) “Lori.” This EVP was captured by one of Patti’s Students, Eric Duckworth. While Patti is dowsing she picks up the ghost of a little girl and asks her if she knows who Lori is. Just after that question you hear a child-like whisper, “Lori.”
j) “Patti.” This EVP was captured in the hall on the second floor of the mansion. Someone in the crowd asked, “What’s your name?” Before the other person answers, “Judy,” you will hear a whisper, “Patti.”
k) “Quiet.” In the background you can hear Patti talking to one of the employees of the mansion and then you hear a whisper say, “Quiet.”
l) “This is my tra ba bay and it will pay low out.” Patti was able to capture another EVP in the second floor hallway and this one speaks over the group as they are talking. What this EVP says is not clear so Patti just wrote it out phonetically. She thought at first it might be a foreign language, or that maybe it was in reverse, but later realized that this was not the case.
m) “Running my legs off around here.” This EVP was captured by Patti’s recorder that she had placed on a table upstairs on the second floor in the hallway between the 4 dining rooms. As she is talking with the employees you can hear this EVP speak out over the other voices.
n) “Secret.” While dowsing the rods kept leading Patti back to Lori’s office, one of the managers there. Patti asked the questions, “Does this have anything to do with Lori? Yes, okay,” and then you hear a whisper, “Secret.” Later we learned that one of the original owners was a member of a secret order of the Masons.
o) “Sometimes.” In this recording you will not hear Patti say, “Are you the one that plays tricks?” You will hear a silence and then a quick EVP that says, “Sometimes” and then Patti repeats the word, “Sometimes.” She did not hear the EVP until she played the recorder back to that spot.
p) “Marshall.” This EVP was captured by Patti while dowsing in Lori’s office, one of the managers at the Mansion. As she is asking questions to find out how long this ghost has been passed you can hear a response after she says, “more than fifty years?” and then after she says, “More than 60 years, you hear a whisper, “Marshall.”
q) “Ask me.” This recorder was placed on the middle landing of the stairway going to the second floor. Patti and her students are on the second floor when this EVP was captured. You can hear them talking in the background and near the end you’ll hear a whisper, “Ask me.”
r) “Babe.” Patti says to her husband, “Are you going to take pictures again Babe?” Just as Chuck says, “Ah,” you hear the EVP whisper, “Babe.” Patti gets several EVPs that repeat her last words.
s) “A tone sound.” This strange tone was captured on Patti’s recorder that she had on the second floor in the hall between the four dining rooms. There were no doorbells or any other equipment that had a tone to interfere with the investigation.
t) “The racket.” While recording on the second floor in the hallway, Patti picks up an EVP just after she stops laughing. The EVP says, “The racket.”
u) “Yeah.” Patti has her group sitting around a table with a mini recorder in the middle. She says, “I’m going to be recording you so if you want to say anything, go ahead and say it.” While someone is saying something back to Patti her recorder picks up an EVP that says, “Yeah.”
v) “Growling sound.” As Patti is about to leave the attic she decided to check out one of the rooms that was closed off. When she opened the door she decided not to go in but she held her camera inside the room and took a snapshot. She didn’t get anything in her photo but she did get a growl on her recorder as she was taking the picture.
w) “Camera is knocked out of hand.” There is no EVP here, just the sounds of Patti leaving the attic, just after she captured the growl, and her camera is knocked out of her hands. Just before this happens the static on the recorder gets very strong and loud, but as soon as the camera goes flying there is not more static.
13) Bell Witch, Old Elementary School, Adams, TN
a) “You bet.” Patti was dowsing in one of the old classrooms downstairs to the right as you enter the school building. During her line of questioning, She asks the ghosts, “Does 54 mean anything to you?” Then she mumbles something and then you will hear a whisper, “You bet.” Then Patti asks the same question and this time her rods move up and down to signify a yes.
b) “Five.” As Patti continues to dowse in the old school house she wants to know how many spirits are there. She gets all the way to fifty and the EVP says, “Five”. When you play this it will be a short silence then the whisper comes through which afterwards Patti says, “Excuse me what was that.” This was one of the few times that she heard a whisper as it spoke.
14) Springhill Winery, Bloomfield, KY
a) “Borg.” As Patti is going upstairs to the second floor she picks up an EVP that says, “Borg.” She thought maybe it was a name of a previous owner or one of the soldiers that was killed there. Only the research in history will tell.
b) “Box.” Patti is setting out some of the meters and she is getting some good readings from the TriField Natural EM meter in a corner under the stairway. Ed asks Patti if she wants him to move the box so she can get in closer. Then she picked up an EVP at this point repeating, “Box.” Another example of the EVP repeating a word said earlier.
c) “Help.” As Patti is talking to the owner he is telling her about his home and after he tells her about the tunnel to the cellar you will hear a whisper, “Help.”
d) “My name is Laura.” While Patti is dowsing on the sun porch she contacts a little girl that fell from the porch back in the 1800’s while the house was being built. Patti asks the group if anyone was getting the feeling for a name and Phyllis says that they all have names ending in “A” and her last guess was Laura. Then you will hear an EVP say, “My name is Laura.”
e) “I did it.” Patti is walking around in the slaves’ quarters taking pictures and picked up this EVP whisper, “I did it.” Later on during the day she picked up an EVP on her video that says, “Coffee, coffee,” just after Chuck asks about a cup of coffee. This EVP will be posted at a later date.
15) Alton, IL
a) “Can’t find her.” While Patti was attending Troy Taylor’s Ghost Conference in 2001, she and Chuck stayed at the Comfort Inn. One evening, while at the Inn one of the employees told Patti about a little girl that they had seen on the second floor. Patti decided to dowse to see if she could communicate with the little girl and she came through. Patti asked her is she was happy and she said no. She asked her if she could see the light and the response was yes. Her next question to her was are you afraid of the light and the response was no. Patti then asked her is she would trust her and the response was yes. Patti told the little girl to go into the light to find love and happiness. The response to Patti’s surprise was no. Patti thought that the one thing that would keep a child for leaving would be that they do not have their mother with them. Patti asked her if she was looking for her mother and the response was yes. Patti told the little girl to go into the light and she would find her mother there waiting for her and the response was no, again. After a few more questions Patti found out that the little girl, 8 years old, had passed away only 35 years ago. So she thought that maybe her mother might still be alive. She explained to the little girl that before she could find her mother she would have to go into the light first and then she could gain the knowledge to find her mother. As Patti is asking these yes and no question, she tells the person that she is with that her mother hasn’t passed away yet and you hear an EVP, “Can’t find her.”
b) “Same as it use to be.” This EVP was also captured during Patti’s visit to Alton, attending Troy Taylor’s Ghost Conference in 2001. She and some friends decide to check out one of the local haunted cemeteries. While she is there her friend is showing her some new dowsing techniques and they are talking about a particular grave. You’ll hear Patti say, “It’s a male, Manor….Manor,” and just as a train whistle blows in the background you’ll hear an EVP say, “Same as it use to be.” I guess after she repeated it three times he decided to let her know that it was the same as it use to be.
16) Living Arts and Science Center, Lexington, KY
a) “Don’t.” Some of the employees had reported that at times they heard footsteps going upstairs, whispers, and things being moved around. They seemed to be happy ghosts and the employees enjoyed them being there so they were never afraid. Patti decided to go upstairs and check out the attic to see what she could find. While there she told her husband that she was going to walk over and go into this one room that she was drawn to. While she is approaching the room she picked up an EVP that said, “Don’t.”
b) “Twinkle, Twinkle.” As Patti is closing down the investigation and packing up the equipment, she and her husband, Chuck, are just about to leave the building when she captures this EVP of a child that said, “Twinkle, Twinkle.” When she first got this EVP she thought that maybe the child was trying to sing the Twinkle, Twinkle little star song but then her husband made a suggestion that she liked better. He said that maybe that was her way of telling us good-bye since our last name is Starr.
17) Cemetery in Napa Valley, CA
a) “God calls me back.” During this investigation Patti puts her recorder on a headstone and then walks away so it doesn’t pick up any of the groups voices. She was really happy when she had discovered this EVP of a woman’s voice riding in on a lot of static and says, “God calls me back.”
b) “Moaning sounds.” Later on in the recording Patti captures an unhappy moaning sound while the recorder remains on the headstone while they continue their investigation in other parts of the cemetery. The static is really high during the moaning.
18) Ditto House, West Point, KY
a) “Help.” While Patti is walking around this house with many stories of ghosts, she is checking out certain areas with her EMF meters. As she is doing this she picks up an EVP that says, “Help.”
19) Private residence, Lexington, KY
a) “A moan.” While Patti is dowsing down in the basement and asking her yes and know questions she picks up a little girl. As she is asking her questions the water comes on in a utility closet for no reason that anyone could tell. The resident turns it off but it comes back on in a steady dripping sound. Patti asks that they leave the water running in case it helps pick up EVPs. Patti then says to the little girl spirit, “I will walk where you want me to walk – just lead me,” after that you hear a moan.
b) “Yes.” As Patti continues asking the little girl questions you will hear Patti say, “Yes,” to let everyone know what the response was from the rods and then you will hear the whisper of the EVP repeat Patti’s last word, “Yes.”
c) “Ms. Starr.” Patti is in the Ballroom of this house and she is dowsing because the energy is so positive. While she is talking to the spirits she says, “I’d like to find out who you are….I’d like to meet you,” and during the pause you’ll hear an EVP whisper, “Ms. Starr.”
d) “Toby care.” While Patti is walking up the stairs she became instantly affected by the energy pulling at her as she walked up the stairs. It made her laugh it felt so wonderful and during that time she picked up an EVP that speaks over her laughter and you can’t really make out what they are saying so she spells it out phonetically.
e) “Walk to me.” Leaving the group upstairs, Patti has to go back to the first floor to change out her film in the cameras. As she is doing this you will hear the clicking sounds and then an EVP whisper, “Walk to me.”
f) “Laughing sound.” As Patti is leading the closing prayer and she thanks all the spirits, you’ll hear a chuckle or laugh.
20) Highland House, Lexington, KY
a) “Okay.” While Patti and Cathleen, an interested party at this ghost hunt, were upstairs in what use to be the maids quarters they were able to communicate with a female spirit to come out and show herself. During this time Patti was touched on the leg, captured a few orbs on video and photos, as well as an EVP that says, “Okay,” after Patti says, “Or if you want to…..Ok….,” then you’ll hear static and then the “Okay.”
