Lexington's own internationally acclaimed Certified Ghost Hunter, Patti Starr, proudly announces the grand reopening of her Ghost Hunter Shop, located at 835 Porter Place.  Originally opened in 2002, the eclectic shop offers items like EMF Meters, Infrared Thermometers, ghost hunter vests, Dowsing tools, DVDs, Books, and other tools and equipment, geared toward ghost hunting, spiritual, metaphysical and paranormal enthusiasts.

"I've moved the shop to a much larger space, so I decided to host an event in order to introduce current and future customers to the new and improved facility," Patti said.  The grand reopening will take place Saturday, September 9, 2006 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and the public is invited to attend.

Patti is the author of Ghost Hunting in Kentucky and Beyond, a book that is widely hailed as one of the must-have how-to guides for ghost hunters.  She is a frequent speaker at events, colleges and universities throughout the United States and teaches a certification course for those who are seeking to begin or refine their talents as paranormal investigators.

Patti has appeared in numerous newspaper and magazine articles as well as national television and radio, including BBC. Articles about Patti have appeared in numerous major publications, like the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Patti is also the tour guide for the immensely popular Bardstown Ghost Trek.

She has been featured on national TV , Food Network, “The Best Of Fright Food” filmed at the haunted Talbott Tavern, Bardstown, KY and on the A&E Network, “Airline” filmed in Birmingham, AL, at the haunted Sloss Furnaces and a film clip of the investigation on Arline featured on the Montell Williams Show.
