Join us as we go on a ghost hunt, walk, and history tour down the shadowy streets of old historic Bardstown and hear about its ghostly activity from Certified Ghost Hunter, Patti Starr.

The ghost hunt, walk, and history tour starts at the Old Stable Restaurant where you will receive instructions of what to do on the ghost hunt as we approach the haunted locations. Bring your cameras, audio recorders and camcorder if you wish to take part in collecting evidence of the very active spirits who love being photographed on the tour. During the guided walking ghost hunt walking tour you'll hear real stories involving true experiences of people witnessing ghostly activity that is currently happening in the locations on the trek.

On our first stop, the Chapeze House, you may be lucky enough to witness the mysterious lights seen in the upstairs window while listening to the history and stories of this haunted landmark. After the stories we will remain for a while to allow time to take several pictures of the front and the back of this haunted house to see if we can get the faces in the windows that are so prevalent in many photos.

The Pioneer cemetery is next on our route and will include a case study stop so that we can try to get the spirits to speak to us through our recording devices. So bring your recorders if you wish to be a part of this experiment. Those not using their recorders will be encouraged to take photos and videos during our stopover in the cemetery.

From the cemetery we will go to the Jailer's Inn and stand out front while listening to the lasted sightings. The Travel Channel named the Jailer's Inn as one of the 10 most haunted places in America.

The Ghost Trek ends as we gather in one of the most haunted rooms of the Talbott Tavern where we will continue taking photos or videos while standing in the mist of the ghostly activity. (Entering the Tavern may or may not be possible depending on the current events at the time of the tour.)

Bardstown Ghost Trek, guided walking ghost hunt and history tour, lasts about two hours. You can buy your tickets at the door of the Old Stable Restaurant before the tour starts, every Saturday night, 8:00 - 10:00 pm. Tickets are $15.00 per person.

Tickets go on sale at 7:30. No reservations! Come early, tickets sell out quickly!!

Private Group Tours of 15 or more are available Sunday – Friday 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Private Group tours over 30 will receive a discount. Call today to reserve a private group tour with friends, family, club, bridal parties, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Join Patti on this Fascinating Ghost Hunt, Walk, and
History Tour

The Talbott Tavern
Balls of light were bouncing off the walls and swirling around the bed as they hummed with static. The TV turned on and the volume rotated from high to low and then turned off. Suddenly, the balls of light exited out the open window which in turn immediately slammed shut. Did all this happen or was it a dream? Well, maybe, if you think several people can sleep in the same room at different times and experience the same dream. Stay at the Tavern and you be the judge. Coincidence or Haunted?
Click Here to listen to the ghost voice received on last week's ghost walk (06-18-05) as Patti asks the ghost a question.

Here is a photo taken (09-17-05) in the Talbott Tavern by one of the Ghost Trek's walkers . Patti is asking the spirit to "Let us know if you are in the room with us" and at that moment Tim Jones caught this amazing anomaly beside Patti.

The Jailers Inn
It was a dark and stormy night, when, "Honey, did you hear that? It sounded like someone screaming. Do you think this place is really haunted? I'm going to get my camera." The picture revealed a full apparition of a woman standing on the other side of the room. The Travel Channel listed the Jailers Inn as one of the most haunted places in America. Why not stay and decide for yourself. Is this place really haunted?

This photo was taken by Stacey Allen McGee September, 2005 which shows ecto-mist and three huge orbs near Patti as she divulges the many ghost encounters that took place at the Jailer's Inn.

The Pioneer Cemetery
There seems to be a mysterious energy here in this peaceful little cemetery. Even though it dates back to the 1780's you can still sense a spirit that may have remained to keep a vigil over the graves. While taking pictures, be careful where you wander for you might get an unexplained invisible push to warn you of a guarded area. Maybe this activity comes from a spirit that was buried alive by accident, which did happen more than once back in the 1700's. People on the ghost trek have captured strange looking anomalies in their photos. Did they get too close? Why not join us and see what might turn up in your photos.

The Chapeze House
Who is in the bathroom when the toilet flushes? No one. Who kicked Patti on the leg as she walked up the steps and why does it continue to happen? Don't know. Who is the dark haired lady that stays after hours to look out the window to be seen without a face by the passerby? You got me. There is a sad story connected to this building, involving a child dying young, and a doctor catching his wife committing adultery with another man. Are these lost souls still here trying to work out unfinished business? Lot's of evidence was captured here during ghost investigations that included voices and strange images on video. Who is still playing pranks and frightening the employees at the Chapeze House?

This photo looks a lot like the photo of Jesse James
displayed at the Getz Museum in Bardstown. Why
not check out the amazing Getz Museum and see the history
of Jesse's stay in Bardstown and his ties to the community
along with other fascinating history of this building .
