Patti Starr is the President and owner of Ghost Chasers International, Inc., which is based in Lexington, Kentucky.  She leads an experienced, accomplished, group of investigators with a goal to prove that life goes on even after death.  Patti sets out to find and document paranormal activity in the field of ghost hunting with modest equipment such as the Dr. Gauss EMF meter, Multidetector II Profi, Cell Sensor meter, and the Raytec Mini Temp.

Her investigative research for ghosts includes electromagnetic field detection, observing electrostatic field disturbances, capturing anomalous images with infrared videography, 3-D photography, digital photography, 35 mm photography, recorded EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) with audio recording devices, monitoring the temperature with laser thermal scanners, along with other advanced techniques to collect data.  Patti substantiates these findings by catching anomalies in her photos and videos, in addition to EVPs being captured on audio recorders and videos, along with the recorded results of the devices she uses to measure temperature changes and electromagnetic field disturbances.

This was our first time at a golf course. We were invited to do a ghost investigation at Planter's Row in Lexington, KY. We got great pictures and voices while there.

As we finished our search in the cellar Chuck decided to go upstairs to the Deli to get a soda. The recorder was still running and picked up a voice while he was talking to Edna about a drink. She asked Chuck if he would like a cup and a voice loudly says just after her, "Cup". When Chuck says, No thanks, she asks him if he is sure, just after that there is a whisper that says, "Sure" or "Surnuf" it's hard to make it out but it is definitely a whisper.

For placement of the other cassette recorder, I decided not to carry it around with us but to leave it in the room with the upstairs closet that seemed to spook everyone. Some of the activity included the door that is latched closed will come unlatched and open, a lot. A rhythmic bumping sound and when you approach the room the bumping stops but starts up again once you leave the area, and a drop in temperature when entering the room. As I'm setting up the recorder I ask the spirit to speak to me and you can hear a whisper say, "Alright" as I say "I'm gonna take the mic". Once we set the recorder up we left the area and closed the door.

I noticed just prior to the 5th time the rapping sound occurs, there appears to be a voice saying "Rats".

Jul 12, 2001 Bright Entity?

This picture was taken of me in the closet dowsing. This is also where I got the voice "Alright" and the tapping sound. As I was dowsing my rods indicated to me that I either needed to go up or down stairs to find the entity and the only direction I could go was directly downstairs to the snackbar. I went down to the snackbar and while dowsing Chuck took another picture but this time with my camera instead of his and got a very similar shape as the first one. The snackbar is where I got the voice "Cup" and "Surenuff". I'll send this picture next. Check out how similar they look and first one was taken with Chuck's Nikon 35 mm with 400 speed and the next one that I'm going to send you is my camera with 800 speed. Also the EMF meter was giving us some pretty high readings in both rooms as well.
